How to book a PTE exam online

1. Check the test requirement

   Select Academic, Core or Academic UKVI based on your receiving organisation’s instructions. Confirm the full test name before browsing offers.

2. Use your provider account

   Start through Pearson’s official booking route and use your own account. Resolve duplicate-account or name issues with provider support instead of bypassing them.

3. Check current availability

   Choose a test centre and date from the live provider system. Review location and start time carefully; this site does not display live slots.

4. Review the fee or voucher

   Check the current total. If applying a voucher, make sure the selected test and country match its terms and review any balance due.

5. Finish and verify the appointment

   Complete the provider’s confirmation steps. Then review the test name, candidate details, date, time and centre in your booking record.

6. Prepare for test day

   Read your confirmation instructions, check your ID and plan travel. Keep enough time for the centre’s stated check-in process.

What booking assistance should include

Useful assistance explains the test choice, offer terms and booking steps clearly. It should identify the party taking payment, the party issuing the voucher, what the service costs and how problems are handled. Agree these points before making a payment.

Pearson says agent bookings should use an authorised partner and its official systems, without giving the agent direct access to your myPTE login. Book Exam Online has not provided evidence of partner status, so direct agent booking is not represented as available.

Changing or cancelling a booking

Pearson’s policy makes the time remaining before the appointment important. Its rescheduling section permits free changes when more than 14 full calendar days remain; closer to the test, cancellation and a new booking may be necessary. Cancellation charges depend on the time remaining.

The provider’s pages can express boundaries differently, so do not calculate a refund from a short summary alone.
